Stuff is an enthusiastic supporter of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ and we’re delighted to have such a strong and valuable partnership.
Stuff is a collection of digital-first products and services that connect Kiwi communities to the stuff that matters, the stuff they love and each other. Proud to be New Zealand’s leading media organisation, Stuff connects with 3.2 million Kiwis every month across its platforms, including NZ’s largest news site stuff.co.nz, and a broad range of much-loved newspaper titles and magazines. Stuff leverages its audience and scale to diversify into new categories and revenue streams, to ensure it continues to deliver quality local journalism that Kiwis look for every day. Stuff connects with the community through a range of sport, business and lifestyle events, and ventures like Neighbourly and Play Stuff.
Each year NZ House & Garden, one of Stuff’s leading lifestyle publications, invites readers to step inside the pages of this much-loved magazine via its series of house tours. Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, the charity partner, recruits around 800 BCFNZ volunteers to welcome tour-goers with a smile, and usher them into the stunning homes.
We look forward to continuing this wonderful relationship that benefits so many Kiwis and their families.
Estée Lauder Companies have been alongside us since we began in 1994 – a relationship of 25 years and counting. They support us with generous donations from sales of Pink Ribbon products during October along with items to use for gifts and fundraising throughout the year.
They’re also behind our most recognisable symbol: the pink ribbon. It all began in 1992, when Evelyn Lauder made a commitment to the fight against breast cancer and launched the first Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at Estée Lauder counters across the United States.
Quarter of a century later in New Zealand, Estée Lauder supplies us with over 500,000 pink satin ribbons to distribute during our annual Pink Ribbon street appeal.
They’ve been with us every step of the way, and we’re grateful for their ongoing support.
Farmers has been a generous supporter for the past twenty years, first getting involved in our retail appeal in back in 2000.
In 2014 they embraced our October campaign to raise awareness and funds in every Farmers store nationwide. Over the past six years Farmers customers and staff have raised an incredible $1.7 million for breast cancer research and support. This puts them in a very special league, as our only supporter who has contributed over $1 million. These funds have been vital in allowing us to continue our life-saving work.
The majority of funds have been donated by generous Farmers customers, while the rest have come from the sale of Boobeads – keyrings featuring beads the size of breast lumps detectable via mammogram or touch. Individual stores often turn Pink for a Day, with staff dressing in pink, baking pink cupcakes, decorating pink bras and hosting raffles.
Farmers have promoted TLC, our breast check how-to video, through posters in their changing rooms – the perfect place to grab women’s attention. They’ve also given out Know Your Risk flyers, to make women aware of breast cancer risk factors they can control.
We’ve been working together assisting their staff with bra fitting training for post-surgical needs, and we look forward to continuing and growing our partnership with Farmers in years to come.

Porter Group supplies world-leading brands of heavy equipment through sales and rentals in four countries – New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the United States. Across all of our locations, our focus remains the same as it was at our inception; providing quality machines for our customers.
The Porter Group was established in 1945 when the late Arthur Porter began building roads and winning civil engineering contracts in New Zealand. Arthur began importing heavy equipment and parts, establishing the Porter name and laying the foundation for the Group’s core business.
With 50 retail locations, the Porter Group is now one of the largest privately-owned heavy equipment identities in New Zealand and Australia. Today, every division within the Group supports the core business, and this clear focus is a key to the Group’s continuing success.
Di, a breast cancer survivor, chose not to have reconstructive surgery after her treatment and hadn’t swum for years—until Debs (owner of STOKENZ) gave her one of her Towelies. That simple gift became a game-changer, allowing Di to confidently change beachside or lakeside, and she's now back to living life to the fullest.
Inspired by Di’s journey, Debs decided to launch the Show Us Your Tits campaign.
We asked our amazing customers to draw their boobs and send the designs to us. The results? A limited-edition collection of Towelies, towels, and hair wraps celebrating women’s strength and raising awareness about the importance of breast health, featuring the artwork from breast cancer survivors themselves.
John Andrew has been keeping the Ford tradition alive almost as long as the blue oval has been around.
The birth of the Ford dealership dates back to 1907 when John W. Andrew bought into the family business. The Auckland population at the time was approximately 40,000. The motor car had only made its appearance in Auckland in 1902, and was five years later when the first model T arrived in New Zealand. John W. became one of the early Ford owners and obtained a sub-agency on a commission basis of £5. So started John Andrew Ford, which has grown and given great service to the Auckland region ever since.
The success of any commercial business depends on satisfied customers and satisfied customers come only from the confidence in the product they are buying and in the service they can expect from their dealer. John Andrew Ford is proud to continue the high quality standard of customer service set more than 100 years ago, and there is no doubt that the range of Blue Oval product is getting better and better as years go by.
"It is heartening and we are proud to be able to support Breast Cancer Foundation NZ with the contribution of vehicles with the support of Ford New Zealand.
